Cycling Vacations Updated for 2006

All of our websites are nearly updated with our new 2006 pricing and modifications. While we have continued with mostly the same tours, there are some new tours we are offering in 2006. Specifically, the new tours include La Rioja and the Camino de Santiago in Spain as well as some new tours in the Catalonia region. In Italy, we have added a trip in Umbria. We are still working on new trips in Poland, Slovakia, and Croatia. www.pure-adventures.com

In France, more or less all tours remain with a few new offers and slight modifications in the Loire Region. We are selling trips along the new bicycle path in the Loire region and have also upgraded most of the tours. For the most part in France we have upgraded hotels everywhere and we have upgraded bike equipment in all regions. We are pleased to note that we have a very consistent brand now for equipment in much of France for our tours. We are offering Trek 7200 or 7300 hybrids in Provence, Loire, Burgundy which account in total for about 70% of our total volume. In these same regions we are offering Eddy Merckx road bikes as well. And in other regions like Alsace, Brittany, Normandy, Dordogne we are using other brand hybrids but of excellent quality such as Gitane and Intercycle - both French brands. Additional services have been incorporated in the tours and more support made available. We are also working on GPS handhelds/bar mounted on many of the tours. www.discoverfrance.com

Over at Cycling Classics; we have launched our Tour de France tours and we have put up some new info for Mont Ventoux and Alpes tours. The new trip for us here is the challenging tour in the Girona area of Spain where clients can ride up to the Vallter at 2000 meters in the Spanish Pyrenees. www.cyclingclassics.com
